The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two time unified title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's largest financial successes, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
